Senior Data Architect (Enterprise Finance/Operational)

Location: Worldwide; fully remote, office-based, or hybrid work options are available.

Salary: €6,750–€9,000 gross per month.

What you will do

• Assess financial, operational, inventory, and ERP data landscapes across approximately nine acquired ERP environments.
• Define future-state enterprise data strategy, centralized data platform recommendations, and AI-ready architecture.
• Design canonical, semantic, event-driven, and API-first integration architecture for multiple ERP, EMR, and specialized systems.
• Develop master data management, governance, metadata, lineage, data quality, and enterprise reporting standards.
• Define ETL/ELT, data consolidation, migration-risk, and modernization roadmaps, including Architecture Decision Records.
• Collaborate with AI and Enterprise Architects and present defensible recommendations to both finance executives and AI-focused stakeholders.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in enterprise data architecture.
• Strong enterprise-scale master data management experience, including chart of accounts, bank account, item, or vendor master consolidation.
• Experience consolidating data across business units, acquisitions, or ERP systems.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise reporting, analytics architecture, trusted data, and month-end close processes.
• Experience with finance, operations, inventory, supply chain, procurement, or spend management data domains.
• Upper-Intermediate English or higher, with strong consulting and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to have

• Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, Databricks, data lake, or lakehouse experience.
• Medallion architecture and healthcare data or revenue cycle management experience.
• HL7/FHIR, EMR/EHR, HIPAA, SOX, or AI-audit knowledge.
