Backend Engineer (Kotlin)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain reliable Kotlin code for backend services.
• Implement server-side logic and APIs with a focus on performance and responsiveness.
• Build and integrate services with relational and non-relational databases.
• Collaborate with product and frontend teams to define and deliver roadmap features.
• Troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, strengthen security, and participate in code reviews.
• Contribute across the full development lifecycle, from design through deployment.

Requirements

• Professional experience as a Backend Engineer or in a similar role, with strong Kotlin expertise.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and relational and non-relational databases.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Agile methodologies, and cloud services such as AWS or GCP.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, independent working, and collaboration skills.
• Excellent written and verbal English is required.
