Senior Manual QA Engineer (ERP)

Location: On-site in Krakow, Poland

Purpose-led technology company providing a proprietary government resource planning platform for public-sector financial management across more than 25 countries.

What you will do

• Design, maintain, and execute manual test cases for functional, regression, smoke, integration, exploratory, and end-to-end testing.
• Validate cross-module workflows covering budgeting, expenditure, treasury, revenue, payroll, and related financial processes.
• Reproduce, document, triage, and verify defects using structured reporting and defect lifecycle practices.
• Assess regression scope and provide written QA release assessments covering test coverage, findings, and outstanding risks.
• Build QA documentation, standards, coverage maps, and knowledge of complex business workflows.
• Collaborate with developers, functional analysts, services, and QA leadership while mentoring junior and mid-level QA engineers.

Requirements

• On-site work in Krakow, Poland.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in manual QA for enterprise-scale web applications.
• Advanced knowledge of functional, black-box, regression, smoke, exploratory, integration, and risk-based testing.
• Experience with test management systems such as Testomat.io, TestRail, or Zephyr and bug trackers such as Mantis or Jira.
• Experience with SQL, REST API verification, multi-environment testing, JSF or form-driven enterprise applications, and databases such as MySQL, Oracle, or MSSQL.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills; strong analytical, documentation, collaboration, and mentoring abilities.

Nice to have

• Experience testing ERP, GRP, IFMIS, government financial management, or public financial management systems.
• Knowledge of budgeting, procurement, treasury, payroll, reconciliation, and other financial transaction workflows.
• Exposure to Playwright, Selenium, RestAssured, Docker Compose, AI-assisted testing, or CMMI and ISO quality initiatives.
• Basic scripting with Python, JavaScript, or Shell and familiarity with Git or SVN, CI/CD, and Jenkins logs.
