Senior Functional Analyst (ERP)

What you will do

• Translate business requirements and storyboards into functional specifications, process models, use cases, decision tables, and mockups.
• Lead stakeholder workshops, refine requirements, validate assumptions, and align teams on solution design.
• Document and validate government public financial management processes, including budgeting, accounting, fiscal controls, and performance management.
• Evaluate solution feasibility, identify gaps and integration points, and provide functional recommendations.
• Review functional and technical deliverables, contribute to test case development, and validate resolved issues.
• Coordinate functional decisions and communication across R&D, Development, QA, Professional Services, and customer implementation teams.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in functional analysis for enterprise-scale applications.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Analysis, Accounting, Public Finance, or a related discipline.
• Strong experience with requirements elicitation, documentation, business process modeling, use cases, and functional specification writing.
• Solid understanding of public financial management, government budgeting, accounting, and fiscal controls.
• Experience with large integrated software systems, configuration-driven platforms, technical designs, data models, and process flows.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills; occasional international travel is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with GRP, ERP, PFM, IFMIS, or public-sector resource planning implementations across multiple countries.
• Background in government or public-sector reform environments.
• Familiarity with Agile development practices and enterprise product roadmaps.
• Experience mentoring junior analysts.
