Professional Learning Specialist (EdTech)

Location: Remote for candidates located in the Midwest region of the United States, preferably near Chicago, Illinois; must live close to a major airport. Travel to schools and districts is required, with up to 60% travel during back-to-school season and up to 40% during the remainder of the year.

Salary: $72,000–$85,000 base salary per year, plus benefits.

What you will do

• Serve as a product expert and provide educators with implementation strategies tailored to their classroom needs.
• Partner with school and district leaders to plan and deliver virtual and in-person professional development supporting successful IXL implementation.
• Facilitate professional development sessions for schools and districts, including required travel.
• Set up, host, and present at regional IXL Live events in collaboration with the events team.
• Collaborate with sales to support schools piloting IXL.
• Partner with customer success and sales teams to manage and grow customer relationships.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree.
• 5+ years of teaching experience in a K-12 setting.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect well with others and maintain a positive, collaborative attitude.
• Organized, methodical, and detail-oriented approach.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently from start to finish.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience using Google Apps and Zoom.
• Must live close to a major airport.
