Legal Counsel (Fintech)

What you will do

• Advise on commercial agreements, regulatory matters, and corporate governance.
• Draft, review, and negotiate complex contracts and other critical legal documents.
• Support product development by identifying regulatory risks and legal requirements.
• Manage relationships with external legal advisers and regulators.
• Develop compliance policies, manage legal risks, and oversee disputes and legal proceedings.

Requirements

• Qualified lawyer admitted to practice in Hong Kong, the UK, or an equivalent jurisdiction.
• At least 3 years of legal experience, preferably in fintech, financial services, or technology.
• Strong knowledge of fintech and payments regulations in Hong Kong and the UK.
• Experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and demonstrate high ethical standards.
