Senior HR Business Partner

Location: San Francisco; in-office role

Salary: $190,000–$240,000 per year plus equity

What you will do

• Advise senior leaders and executives across Engineering, Product, and Design on organizational effectiveness and people strategy.
• Partner with Finance on headcount planning, sales compensation design, and compensation cycle execution.
• Build scalable HRBP playbooks and frameworks for onboarding, ramping, performance calibration, and compensation cycles.
• Coach managers and leaders on performance, feedback, difficult conversations, career development, and promotions.
• Manage complex employee relations matters and guide communication, engagement, recognition, and change initiatives.
• Define the HRBP operating model and establish the foundation for a growing HRBP team.

Requirements

• 8+ years of HR experience, including substantial HRBP or People Partner experience in high-growth SaaS or technology companies.
• Experience supporting Engineering, Product, or Design organizations and advising executive and senior leaders.
• Expertise in organizational design, change management, workforce planning, and succession planning.
• Strong knowledge of performance management, employee relations, compensation, and engagement practices.
• Experience scaling HRBP or People Partner functions from an early stage into mature teams.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work strategically and hands-on in a fast-changing environment.

• Experience in hypergrowth SaaS environments.
• Global HR experience with multi-country organizations, EORs, and compliance at scale.
• Experience partnering with Finance on engineering capacity planning.
