What you will do

• Guide enterprise customers in building, scaling, and optimizing large-scale data engineering and warehousing workloads.
• Architect production-ready pipelines and demonstrate platform value through performance testing, load testing, and optimization.
• Advise on lakehouse architecture, streaming, automated ingestion, data observability, governance, and security.
• Partner with Solutions Architects on pre-sales engagements, proofs of concept, workload sizing, and custom architecture designs.
• Lead workshops, hackathons, conference presentations, and other adoption initiatives.
• Develop technical leadership through mentorship, specialized training, and continuous learning.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a technical role involving data or software engineering.
• Production experience with Spark workloads, Spark Streaming, Kafka, batch ingestion, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with data applications, predictive analytics pipelines, customer analytics platforms, and enterprise data warehouse migrations.
• Knowledge of EDW, OLAP/OLTP, query tuning, governance, MPP debugging, telemetry, anomaly detection, and SIEM tools.
• Strong understanding of lakehouse architectures, Delta Lake, data modeling, BI integration, and AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Production-level SQL programming plus Python, Scala, or Java; willingness to travel up to 30% and complete role-specific milestones within six months.
