Salary: $180,000–$247,500 USD per year, plus potential annual performance bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Guide enterprise implementations of large-scale data engineering and data warehousing workloads.
• Architect production-ready pipelines and demonstrate platform value through performance and load testing.
• Design lakehouse, streaming, ingestion, observability, and migration solutions.
• Support complex pre-sales engagements with proofs of concept, workload sizing, and custom architectures.
• Lead workshops, hackathons, conference presentations, and adoption initiatives.
• Partner with Solutions Architects and mentor technical teams and customers.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in a technical role with deep data engineering expertise.
• Production experience with Spark workloads, streaming technologies such as Spark Streaming or Kafka, batch ingestion, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with data applications, predictive analytics pipelines, customer analytics platforms, EDW migrations, query tuning, governance, and MPP debugging.
• Knowledge of data observability, telemetry, log ingestion, anomaly detection, and SIEM tools such as Splunk, Elastic, or Sentinel.
• Strong understanding of lakehouse architecture, Delta Lake, data modeling, BI integration, and AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Production-level SQL and programming experience in at least one of Python, Scala, or Java; a bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
