Big Data Architect (Databricks + Azure)

What you will do

• Design and support implementation of enterprise-scale Data & Analytics platforms using Databricks and Azure.
• Translate business and technical requirements into scalable solution architectures and implementation approaches.
• Collaborate with customers, delivery teams, and stakeholders in discovery workshops, architecture discussions, and solution planning.
• Support pre-sales through technical proposals, architecture presentations, demos, and solution assessments.
• Define migration strategies, high-level estimates, Statements of Work, and roadmap proposals.
• Design batch, streaming, and real-time data architectures and support projects from discovery and proof of concept through production.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Data Architect working with enterprise-scale Data & Analytics platforms.
• Strong experience designing Databricks architectures and data solutions in Azure.
• Hands-on knowledge of Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, Workflows, Jobs, and SQL Warehouses.
• Experience with Azure data services including ADLS Gen2, Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Fabric, and Azure SQL.
• Advanced SQL and Python skills, plus experience with Apache Kafka, Azure Event Hub, and Databricks Structured Streaming.
• Customer-facing and pre-sales experience, knowledge of data governance, and upper-intermediate or higher English.
