What you will do

• Define the technical vision for platform engineering, DevOps, and internal developer platform initiatives.
• Architect and evolve cloud-native platforms on AWS using EKS, infrastructure as code, GitOps, and CI/CD.
• Build secure, scalable, highly available platform services, self-service capabilities, and reusable engineering standards.
• Drive operational excellence through observability, SRE practices, incident management, security by default, and continuous improvement.
• Lead architecture reviews, provide design guidance and mentoring, and influence technical direction across engineering, security, infrastructure, and product teams.
• Design or integrate AI-enabled platform services, including LLM APIs, RAG, agentic workflows, tool integration, and enterprise AI architecture.

Requirements

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 12+ years of software engineering experience with technical leadership as a Principal Engineer, Software Architect, or Technical Lead.
• Deep expertise in AWS, Kubernetes/EKS, Terraform, AWS CDK, ArgoCD/GitOps, CI/CD, and production cloud platforms.
• Experience designing secure, observable, resilient distributed systems and high-scale web applications, including CDN and web security.
• Strong knowledge of authentication and authorization, cloud security, infrastructure as code, SRE, observability, incident management, and reliability engineering.
• Mastery of Python, Java, TypeScript, or Go, plus experience with production AI systems, LLM APIs, RAG, agentic workflows, governance, evaluation, and observability.

Nice to have

• Experience building internal developer platforms with Backstage or similar tools.
• Multi-cloud experience across AWS and Azure, plus service mesh, policy-as-code, and enterprise security platforms.
• Experience with AWS Bedrock or Azure, LiteLLM, LangGraph, Google ADK, KServe, vLLM, OpenSearch, pgvector, and MLOps/LLMOps practices.
• Experience with SOX/SOC2 compliance, FinOps, and enterprise platform modernization.
