What you will do

• Lead the design and delivery of resilient frontend solutions for medium- and large-scale projects.
• Build and evolve a new Next.js application with production-ready code.
• Define frontend architecture standards, best practices, and technical designs.
• Plan and estimate work while maintaining high standards of quality assurance.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews, technical guidance, and knowledge sharing.
• Collaborate with backend, UX/UI, QA, DevOps, Product, stakeholders, and clients on architecture and solution delivery.

Requirements

• Advanced production experience with React and Next.js App Router.
• Strong understanding of SSR, SSG, ISR, hybrid rendering, TypeScript, and modern frontend architecture.
• Experience integrating frontend applications with distributed microservices and API contracts.
• Proficiency with frontend testing frameworks such as Playwright and Jest.
• Ability to maintain architectural standards and support technical decisions across the team.
• Must be based in the United States for the fully remote Austin role.

Nice to have

• Experience with REST or GraphQL APIs, headless CMS platforms, CI/CD, Docker, AKS, Terraform, and cloud environments.
• Knowledge of performance optimization, accessibility, observability, and infrastructure definitions.
• Experience with commerce platforms such as Shopify or Adobe Commerce.
• Familiarity with .NET, Node, PHP, and AI-assisted development tools.
