What you will do

• Define technical strategy, architectural direction, and engineering standards with the Head of Nova.
• Lead the design and implementation of AI-enabled products, platforms, frameworks, and engineering patterns.
• Build scalable, secure, maintainable, and resilient solutions aligned with business outcomes.
• Champion AI-native software engineering and demonstrate how AI can accelerate the full development lifecycle.
• Mentor engineers, run workshops and training, and raise technical standards across the organisation.
• Evaluate emerging models, tools, and development approaches while balancing innovation, governance, security, and commercial considerations.

Requirements

• Senior-level software engineering experience with strong technical depth and architectural judgment.
• Ability to lead technical direction, solve complex problems, and communicate complex ideas clearly.
• Builder’s mindset with a focus on experimentation, ownership, practical solutions, and measurable outcomes.
• Strong interest in AI-native engineering, emerging AI models, agentic workflows, and new software delivery practices.
• Ability to collaborate with product, business, and technical stakeholders and mentor other engineers.
• Ability to work from the Warminster office at least three days per week.
