Solutions Architect (Distributed Systems)

Location: Remote within Europe, preferably Northwestern or Middle Europe, aligned with GMT+1 or within 1–2 hours of that time zone. Expected travel to clients: 15–20%.

What you will do

• Become an expert on the platform and guide customers through training, adoption, implementation, and best practices.
• Act as a technical advisor for the sales team throughout the customer engagement process.
• Define architectural visions and identify use cases that deliver measurable, data-driven outcomes.
• Resolve customer challenges involving orchestration, application development, modernization, performance scaling, and resilience.
• Collaborate with product teams as a customer advocate and contribute to platform evolution.
• Lead workshops, seminars, and meet-ups for the technical community.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, cloud architecture, and customer-facing roles.
• Strong understanding of system design patterns, distributed systems, microservices, and cloud-native architecture.
• Experience integrating REST APIs and messaging systems such as Kafka or MQ.
• Proficiency in Java and strong problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of business processes across multiple industries, geographies, and technical domains.
• Collaborative mindset and willingness to learn new technologies.

Nice to have

• Experience with orchestration engines or workflow systems such as Conductor, Camunda, or Temporal.
• Contributions to open-source projects.
