Senior Analog-Mixed Signal Design Engineer (Automotive)

Location: Timișoara, Romania

What you will do

• Specify, design, and implement functional transistor-level circuit blocks for automotive ICs.
• Participate in ASIC feasibility studies and specification definition.
• Design, simulate, and test analog and mixed-signal circuits.
• Prepare design documentation and perform design validation.
• Develop test procedures and support circuit layout and testing.

Requirements

• Master of Science or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, Physics, or a similar field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience designing analog mixed-signal circuits.
• Experience designing analog circuits.
• Good understanding of BCD technologies.
• Good understanding of semiconductor backend production, including testing, assembly, and failure analysis.
• Experience with Electronics CAD tools; IC design knowledge and experience with Cadence, Synopsys, or Mentor are expected ideally.
• Very good written and spoken English.
• Planning and organizing skills, initiative, effective communication, and eagerness to grow and develop.

Nice to have

• Design experience with reference circuits, amplifiers, ADCs, interface design, regulators, layout, or digital design.
