Audit & Assurance Intern - Summer 2027

Location: Arlington, VA, United States; hybrid schedule with in-person attendance at least three days per week at a hirify.global office or client site.

Pay: $40 per hour in the Metro DC office.

hirify.global provides audit, assurance, tax, and advisory services through a multinational professional services platform.

What you will do

• Review and audit business transaction cycles, including cash, treasury, capital expenditures, income, and expenses.
• Perform audit procedures covering cash, receivables, inventory, fixed assets, payroll, and expense analysis.
• Research audit issues and review financial information using audit-related software and electronic databases.
• Identify and communicate audit-related issues to senior staff throughout client engagements.
• Collaborate with client team members and work with staff, managers, and partners across project phases.
• Participate in mentoring, networking, team-building, leadership development, and community outreach activities.

Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Accounting.
• Minimum overall GPA of 3.0/4.0.
• Strong analytical, written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and technical skills.
• Demonstrated project planning and time management abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a complex team environment, work additional hours, and travel to client sites, including on short notice.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future; visa sponsorship is not available.
