Kubernetes Platform Engineer (Cloud Infrastructure)

Location: LATAM, Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru, South Africa, or Uruguay

What you will do

• Build, operate, and scale Kubernetes clusters across multiple datacenters.
• Work with SRE, networking, and security engineers to maintain a stable, scalable platform.
• Triage infrastructure issues and resolve complex Kubernetes and distributed-systems problems.
• Develop automation and tooling that improves engineering efficiency and reduces operational toil.
• Support Kubernetes deployments, networking, storage, and scalability initiatives.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to maintain platform reliability.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as an SRE, Infrastructure, Platform, DevOps, or Software Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes internals, including control plane, scheduling, networking, and storage.
• Strong Linux systems and distributed-systems fundamentals.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, ports, IP addressing, routing, TLS, and PKI concepts.
• Experience with Kubernetes cluster operations, scripting or programming in Python, Bash, Go, or similar, and AI tools such as Claude or OpenAI.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach to resolving platform requests.

Nice to have

• Experience with Cilium or advanced Kubernetes networking.
• Exposure to AWS, GCP, Azure, or on-premises infrastructure.
• Knowledge of Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code tools.
• Experience with storage systems such as Ceph or Rook.
