Senior Social Media Manager

Location: Budapest, Hungary; hybrid work with teams in the office an average of four days per week.

What you will do

• Lead the planning and delivery of complex, strategic social media programmes for senior clients.
• Develop social strategies, content frameworks, platform recommendations, and agency best practices.
• Advise senior clients on social strategy, content distribution, influencer integration, and brand voice.
• Manage social and influencer campaigns end-to-end, including optimization, quality assurance, and post-campaign reporting.
• Mentor Social Media Managers and Junior Social Media Managers while overseeing resource allocation and team performance.
• Manage project scope, estimates, billing, profitability, supplier contracting, and social revenue growth.

Requirements

• 5+ years of social media experience in an agency or in-house environment, including team mentoring.
• Proven experience leading large-scale strategic social media programmes with measurable business impact.
• Deep expertise across major social platforms, content formats, emerging technologies, social analytics, social listening, and scheduling tools.
• Strong commercial, presentation, negotiation, and senior stakeholder management skills.
• Outstanding written Hungarian and fluent spoken and written English are required.
• University degree, preferably in communication, marketing, media, or a related field.

• Meta Blueprint or equivalent platform certifications.
• Experience using emerging AI tools in social media work.
