What you will do

• Define end-to-end data architectures for lakes, warehouses, lakehouses, and hybrid AWS and Azure/Fabric deployments.
• Design scalable data-processing and pipeline frameworks using Spark, Docker, Kubernetes, and DevOps practices.
• Establish architecture for AI/ML model building, training, deployment, versioning, monitoring, LLMOps, and MLOps.
• Drive automation, testing, observability, performance optimisation, cost control, and operational reliability across data workflows.
• Develop data governance, schema management, metadata, data quality, security, and compliance frameworks.
• Lead technical workshops, design reviews, stakeholder alignment, and evaluations of emerging technologies such as vector databases and real-time analytics.

Requirements

• Enterprise-scale experience designing lakehouse, big data, real-time pipeline, and hybrid cloud architectures.
• TOGAF certification and a record of optimising cost, performance, and business outcomes in regulated environments.
• Advanced knowledge of Java/Spring, Python, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, and DevOps methodologies.
• Experience with Spark, Iceberg, Parquet, large-scale data processing, and cloud data platforms.
• Knowledge of ML and analytics, with exposure to LLMOps, MLOps, model governance, and AI solution architecture.
• Strong communication skills, workshop facilitation experience, and the ability to bridge technical and non-technical perspectives.
