Backend Developer (PHP)

What you will do

• Design and build PHP backend services and APIs, owning features from data modeling through delivery.
• Use TypeScript and Node.js across the backend and contribute to the Nuxt 3/Vue 3 frontend when needed.
• Design asynchronous, event-driven systems with message queues, dead-letter queues, and retry policies.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries involving joins, aggregations, CTEs, and window functions.
• Operate and monitor services on AWS, including ECS, ECR, SQS, SES, S3, CloudWatch, EC2, RDS, and ElastiCache.

Requirements

• Solid professional experience with PHP.
• Experience with Laravel or Symfony.
• Strong JavaScript or TypeScript skills, preferably TypeScript, with backend and frontend experience.
• Advanced SQL skills and experience with performance-aware querying on real data volumes.
• Experience with cloud platforms, ideally AWS.
• Experience designing asynchronous or event-driven systems, including dead-letter queues and retry policies.
