What you will do

• Build complex, highly scalable technical solutions for the checkout domain in collaboration with Tech and Product leads.
• Define architectural decisions and ensure the delivery of reliable, state-of-the-art products.
• Lead and mentor a team of engineers, coordinating with Product Managers, QAs, and Designers to ship new features.
• Champion best practices in agentic engineering by leveraging modern AI tooling.
• Operate within a dynamic, international agile environment (SCRUM/Kanban) with flat hierarchies.

Requirements

• 10+ years of total professional experience, with 5-6+ years as a Backend Developer.
• Extensive experience with PHP 8+ in scalable, high-load environments.
• Proven expertise in Symfony and Laravel frameworks.
• Strong experience with MySQL, Redis, and event-driven software architecture.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, AWS, and GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
• Fluent English communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Golang.
• Experience with Generative AI (GenAI) or similar technologies.
