Location: Stanton, Michigan, United States. The role requires travel outside the home market for up to 50% of the time, potentially more depending on customer projects, and work in remote, elevated, confined, and challenging locations.

What you will do
- Install, maintain, repair, and upgrade antennas, coaxial lines, fiber optic cable, connectors, and other telecommunications equipment.
- Climb guyed, lattice, monopole, water, and stealth towers, rooftops, and other structures while using required PPE and safety procedures.
- Troubleshoot, expand, and improve cellular carrier networks, including radio and antenna swaps and capacity expansions.
- Perform site inspections, job hazard assessments, pre- and post-work audits, and equipment hazard reporting.
- Read blueprints, follow scopes of work and methods of procedure, document labor and materials, and track progress using checklists.
- Serve as a rescue climber when needed and identify potential customer add-on opportunities.
Requirements
- At least 21 years old with a valid driver's license and eligibility to operate a company vehicle.
- 1–2 years of tower climbing experience and a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Required tower safety and rescue certification, such as NATE or ComTrain, or the ability to obtain it upon hire.
- Strong organizational, mathematical, computer, and multitasking skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Ability to climb structures at heights of 300+ feet while carrying up to 25 pounds and lift up to 40 pounds for extended periods.
- Ability to travel up to 50% outside the home market and work safely in all weather conditions and challenging locations.
Nice to have
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
- Knowledge of networking principles, Ethernet standards, power systems, cable testing, and industrial construction.
- Previous telecommunications industry experience.
