Climbing Engineer (Telecoms)

Location: South Bristol (Field Based). Must be able to demonstrate residency in the UK for the past 5 years to obtain SC clearance.

What you will do

• Install, commission, and maintain the network and services to agreed standards and service levels.
• Perform regular climbing of towers and rooftop sites to conduct physical installations and repairs.
• Carry out fault diagnosis and resolution across various telecommunications technologies.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement to deliver operational excellence.
• Ensure all work is performed following hirify.global HSE Absolute Rules without exception.
• Communicate professionally with internal and external customers.

Requirements

• Formal telecoms/electronic qualification or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience with 3G/4G/5G, microwave radio, DWDM, Ethernet, and DC power systems.
• Proficiency in fibre and copper cabling and termination.
• Valid full UK/EU driving license (Category B).
• Ability to achieve and maintain Secured Vetting (SC) clearance.
• Ability to achieve and maintain Advanced Climber / Tower Rescue Certification.
