Location: Onsite at WWE Headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut, with weekly travel to RAW or SmackDown shows and rotating travel to Premium Live Events.

What you will do

• Develop clearly defined and emotionally sophisticated characters for a diverse roster of WWE talent.
• Write captivating storylines and scripts for RAW, SmackDown, and selected WWE programming on ESPN.
• Collaborate with writers to create stories that engage global audiences across multiple demographics.
• Provide punch-up for scripted segments and review complete episodes for continuity and flow.
• Use consumer insights and social media to create impactful storylines aligned with the WWE brand and talent histories.
• Attend weekly creative writing meetings at WWE Headquarters and travel to weekly shows and Premium Live Events.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience writing for television or film.
• Experience working with on-screen talent, creative writers, and producers.
• Professional television or film staff experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Film, Television, Drama, Media Studies, Communications, or a related field, or validated equivalent experience.
• Ability to work onsite at WWE Headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut and travel weekly to live shows.

Nice to have

• Producing and directing experience.
• Experience in live television production.
• Understanding of WWE’s audience, including demographic and psychographic characteristics.
