What you will do

• Develop the strategy for a portfolio of industrial and manufacturing engineering journals and identify opportunities for new journal launches.
• Manage relationships with editors, authors, editorial boards, societies, researchers, and other academic stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Publishers and cross-functional teams to deliver innovative journal solutions.
• Support the flow of relevant, high-quality manuscripts and oversee editorial, production, and publishing operations.
• Monitor portfolio performance, including content growth, market share, citation share, impact factor, editorial speed, and stakeholder satisfaction.
• Identify market needs and develop mutually beneficial long-term partnerships.

Requirements

• Experience in journal management and academic publishing.
• In-depth educational background and a strong interest in academic publishing.
• Demonstrable experience in an academic or research environment.
• Excellent written and spoken English required, including communication across international boundaries.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, influencing, collaboration, adaptability, and self-management skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.
