What you will do

• Define OT scope and strategies for global engineering projects in collaboration with site and project partners.
• Provide technical leadership from concept and detailed design through equipment selection, installation, start-up, and commissioning.
• Communicate requirements to vendors and ensure compliance with global automation standards.
• Drive Industry 4.0 initiatives for Smart Factories and autonomous manufacturing.
• Develop technology standards and strategies with Global IT/OT teams.
• Coordinate international engineering teams and stakeholders across project management, manufacturing, quality, and IT.

Requirements

• Extensive experience delivering GMP Process Control Systems in pharmaceutical or biotech projects, including DCS, SCADA, and PLC solutions.
• Understanding of biotech and API manufacturing processes, post-project operational requirements, and drug product automation.
• Experience integrating process control systems with IT architectures, MES, process historians, recipe data, analytics platforms, and PAT.
• Demonstrated project management capabilities and the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
• Knowledge of GMP regulations and regulatory expectations.

Nice to have

• Experience with OT cybersecurity, electronic batch records, data modeling, laboratory automation, or warehouse automation.
• Experience with vial filling and packaging automation.
