What you will do
- Lead end-to-end FedRAMP High authorization and maintain active authorization requirements.
- Drive alignment with CMMC Level 2/3, CMS MARS-E, and StateRAMP frameworks.
- Manage continuous monitoring, vulnerability management, incident reporting, and authorization deliverables.
- Map NIST SP 800-53 controls to related frameworks to reduce duplicated engineering work.
- Coordinate 3PAOs, federal authorizing officials, cloud providers, and agency customers.
- Build and lead a team of compliance analysts and security specialists.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in information security, compliance, or risk management, including 3+ years with FedRAMP authorizations.
- Demonstrated success achieving FedRAMP High authorization for a cloud service offering.
- Strong knowledge of NIST SP 800-53 Rev. 5, FISMA, FedRAMP baselines, and federal authorization processes.
- 3+ years of people management experience, including hiring and developing compliance or security teams.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure security in AWS, Azure, or GCP FedRAMP environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in information security, computer science, or a related field required; ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance if required.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with HIPAA and HITRUST and their relationship to federal requirements.
- Experience with security assessment methodologies and 3PAOs.
- CISSP, CISM, CAP, or FedRAMP-related certification.
- Master’s degree in a related field.
