Member Of Technical Staff, CTO Office (AI Security): Building production-grade proof-of-concepts for emerging AI agent security problems with an accent on architecture, hands-on engineering, and rapid validation. Focus on designing secure AI agent capabilities, evaluating technical feasibility, and transferring successful prototypes into Engineering and Product.

What you will do
- Turn complex, open problems in AI agent security into working proof-of-concepts grounded in technical reality.
- Partner with Product, R&D, research, and go-to-market functions to validate emerging security approaches.
- Own the full prototype lifecycle, including scoping, architecture, implementation, evaluation, documentation, and delivery.
- Make decisions about architecture, tooling, and engineering trade-offs.
- Hand successful prototypes over to Engineering and Product, or lead incubation when a new direction requires a dedicated team.
- Track emerging developments in AI and identify new technical opportunities.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience building, scaling, and operating production systems.
- Strong application and infrastructure engineering experience across diverse environments and platforms.
- Expertise in Python, TypeScript, Go, C#, or Java, plus large-scale cloud services on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Hands-on experience building with LLMs and AI agents, including understanding their operation, failure modes, instrumentation, and evaluation.
- Cybersecurity experience and the ability to work with offensive security researchers and defensive practitioners.
- Strong product mindset and autonomy, including defining solutions and delivery criteria from an ambiguous starting point.
Nice to have
- Experience with AI agent security.
- Experience with inline instrumentation, eBPF, CASB, or sandboxes.
- Background as a cybersecurity founder or CTO.
- Public technical work such as research, conference talks, blog posts, open-source contributions, or published papers.
