AI Software Engineer

Location: Prishtina, Kosovo; office-based or hybrid options available.

What you will do

• Design, build, and operate a shared AI model gateway on AWS Bedrock with routing, model selection, quotas, cost controls, and observability.
• Develop common platform services for authentication, role-based access control, and audit logging.
• Build the knowledge layer for ingestion, chunking, retrieval, and freshness across documentation, product data, and support history.
• Create evaluation harnesses, regression suites, tracing, and monitoring for agent quality, cost, and latency.
• Partner with Customer Portal, Service Desk, and CRM teams to embed AI capabilities on shared infrastructure.
• Establish reusable patterns, libraries, and documentation while designing, testing, delivering, maintaining, and troubleshooting production software.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Experience with web application development and distributed systems architecture, design, and development.
• Professional experience with one or more general-purpose programming languages, such as C/C++, Python, C#, Java, Node, Go, or Ruby.
• Hands-on experience building production LLM applications using retrieval-augmented generation, tool and function calling, and agent orchestration.
• Working knowledge of AWS, ideally including Bedrock or a comparable managed model service.
• Experience with authentication, authorization, and role-based access control across multiple applications, plus integrating SaaS business systems through APIs.

Nice to have

• Experience with vector search and retrieval infrastructure, data pipelines, internal platforms, or developer experience.
