Web QA & Automation Engineer

What you will do

• Own quality for the WordPress-based marketing website from requirements and design validation through release and post-launch monitoring.
• Create test plans and execute manual testing for features, landing pages, content updates, browsers, and devices.
• Build and maintain regression, functional, and end-to-end automated tests using modern frameworks and AI-assisted tools.
• Debug flaky tests, investigate UI and network issues, and track bugs through resolution.
• Validate page performance and SEO-critical elements before releases.
• Partner with Marketing, Web Development, and external stakeholders to define coverage and improve release quality.

Requirements

• 5+ years of QA experience testing complex web applications, including at least 3 years of hands-on automation.
• Strong experience creating and executing detailed test plans and test cases.
• Experience testing WordPress themes, plugins, and page builders.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright, BrowserStack, or Testim.
• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus advanced browser DevTools skills for UI, performance, console, application, and network debugging.
• Experience with AI-assisted test automation, Git, and Agile workflows, with strong attention to detail and clear bug documentation.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with SEO and web performance concepts.
• Experience testing marketing websites or A/B testing tools.
• Knowledge of GitHub repositories, branches, pull requests, and GitHub Actions CI/CD workflows.
