What you will do

• Build programmable data-centre infrastructure for the OpenConfig team.
• Design and implement networking operating-system components based on state orientation and model-driven management.
• Develop multi-process state-sharing and publish-subscribe systems for resilient distributed operation.
• Work with Linux-based software supporting containers, virtual machines, and network automation.
• Maintain a consistent single software image across physical switches, virtual machines, and containers.
• Collaborate on reliable testing, deployment, and CI automation for network configurations.

Requirements

• Strong engineering and computer science fundamentals.
• Extensive experience with algorithms and software architecture.
• 5+ years of fluency in C or C++ programming.
• Hands-on design and implementation experience in a strong product-engineering environment.
• Ability to work under the stated contract arrangement in Ireland, Greece, Spain, Hungary, or Romania.
