TL;DR
Data Engineer (Python): Building and supporting production data pipelines, marketing integrations, tracking systems, and payment data flows with an accent on Python, SQL, GCP, and DataOps. Focus on troubleshooting cross-system data issues, improving ingestion and orchestration workflows, and documenting reliable data movement across internal and external platforms.
Location: Remote for applicants located in the listed European and neighboring countries, within approximately ±4 hours of Central European Time. Availability to support evening work may be required during releases or urgent tracking and payment setup.

What you will do
- Support and improve integrations and workflows in Airbyte, Airflow, and related data systems.
- Manage Google Tag Manager, marketing data sources, tracking pixels, and conversion workflows.
- Move and transform data across BigQuery, Google Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, ClickHouse, and external systems.
- Troubleshoot pipeline, tracking, payment, subscription, and data quality issues.
- Document data flows and collaborate with Data, Marketing, Product, Engineering, and Billing teams.
- Develop across GCP infrastructure, DataOps, dbt, Git, CI/CD, monitoring, and observability platforms.
Requirements
- Strong Python, SQL, and Bash skills.
- Required experience with Google Tag Manager, tracking pixels, conversion setup, and JavaScript.
- Experience with Google Ads, Meta Ads, and Bing Ads.
- Engineering mindset with the ability to understand production systems, solve problems independently, and deliver reliable work.
- Basic understanding of BigQuery, ClickHouse, dbt, and technical documentation.
- Ability to work within approximately ±4 hours of CET and provide occasional evening support when required.
Nice to have
- Experience with Airbyte or a similar data ingestion tool.
- Basic familiarity with Airflow.
- Interest in system design, monitoring, brokers, microservices, alerting, and observability.
