Claims & Customer Solutions Representative (Healthcare)

Location: Hybrid role based in Salt Lake Valley, United States, with time split between the onsite workplace and home office. Occasional in-person meetings or training may be required.

What you will do

• Process medical and dental claims, appeals, and coordination of benefits accurately.
• Resolve billing notices and coordinate care with the Missionary Medical Nurse team.
• Prevent collections activity and provide timely support by phone, email, and in person.
• Manage plan payments, recoveries, receipts, and posting adjustments.
• Partner with Accounting to identify overpayments and execute recoveries.
• Document cases clearly and contribute to special projects and cross-functional initiatives.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Advanced knowledge of claims processing and health plan design.
• Strong judgment, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work in a hybrid schedule based in Salt Lake Valley, United States.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with IT systems and project management.
• Knowledge of healthcare operations, including membership, medical management, or provider contracting.
• Professional verbal and written communication skills.
