What you will do

• Own communications strategy for lending and financial access initiatives across Square, Cash App, and Square Financial Services.
• Develop a cohesive narrative connecting lending, banking, and financial institution initiatives across hirify.global.
• Create executive messaging, thought leadership, media strategies, and proactive storytelling campaigns.
• Build an always-on communications program using customer and seller stories to demonstrate business and financial impact.
• Collaborate with Legal, Risk, Compliance, Underwriting, Product, and business leaders.
• Support media engagement, speaking opportunities, business milestones, and consistent external storytelling.

Requirements

• Experience in corporate communications, financial services communications, fintech, or another complex regulated industry.
• Exceptional writing and storytelling skills, including the ability to explain complex financial products and lending strategies.
• Experience developing proactive communications strategies that support reputation and business growth.
• Strong executive communications experience across messaging, thought leadership, and media strategy.
• Experience managing media relationships and identifying proactive business stories.
• Strong judgment and cross-functional collaboration skills in complex or high-profile communications situations.
