TL;DR
Growth Marketer, Community & Engagement (EdTech): Growing and engaging ’s free teacher user base through advocacy programs, teacher-facing content, community programming, and educational events with an accent on activation, retention, and user-led growth. Focus on building ambassador programs, analyzing engagement metrics, and converting teacher advocacy into downstream partnership opportunities.
Location: Remote, US-based candidates only. Travel to regional or state conferences is required, with an expected attendance of one 2–3 day conference per quarter.
Salary: $70,000–$80,000 per year, commensurate with experience.

What you will do
- Build advocacy playbooks, in-app nurture programs, and an ambassador program for highly engaged teachers.
- Create and manage teacher-focused webinars, newsletters, blog content, organic social media, meetups, roundtables, and conference programming.
- Own the blog maintenance and content cadence while developing stories based on teacher testimonials and user insights.
- Collaborate with Sales, Support, Product, Retention Marketing, Brand & Impact, and Performance Marketing to improve activation and conversion.
- Track engagement, advocacy, newsletter, blog, social, webinar, and ambassador-program performance.
- Test new content, community, and advocacy approaches and share insights across Marketing.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 2–4 years of experience in content marketing, community marketing, growth marketing, or a related field.
- Experience teaching English language arts is required; grades 6–12 experience is preferred.
- Strong writing, storytelling, communication, facilitation, and organizational skills.
- Experience developing newsletters, blogs, webinars, or other teacher-facing content.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, build new programs from scratch, and operate in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be based in the United States and able to travel to regional or state conferences.
Nice to have
- Experience in education, a mission-driven organization, or a freemium/product-led growth environment.
- Experience with HubSpot, Notion, Google Suite, Slack, Zoom, social media tools, or live virtual event production.
- Experience using LLMs, especially Claude.
