What you will do

• Lead alert triage and serve as the primary escalation point for the managed SOC.
• Manage incident response, including scoping, containment, and stakeholder communication.
• Perform proactive threat hunting to identify coverage gaps and emerging risks.
• Integrate AI and automation into daily workflows to reduce manual tasks and improve response times.
• Collaborate with security engineering and cloud security teams to refine detections and tooling.
• Provide coaching and feedback to SOC analysts to support team development.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in security operations, incident response, or threat detection.
• Senior-level depth in Digital Forensics and Incident Response (DFIR).
• Hands-on experience with SIEM and EDR platforms.
• Working understanding of adversarial behavior frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for briefing both technical and executive audiences.
• Must be based in the United States for remote or hybrid work.

Nice to have

• Experience with Crowdstrike EDR and NG-SIEM.
• Cloud security monitoring experience (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Python programming skills for automation and scripting.
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation) and CI/CD pipelines.
