What you will do
- Conduct basic mechanical testing techniques according to established protocols and customer specifications.
- Determine accurate test results, including pass/fail outcomes and material composition data.
- Perform pre- and post-test measurements and occasional failure testing.
- Prepare reports using standardized templates and testing software.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and report repair requirements.
- Provide general support to the Mechanical Testing department, including work outside core operating hours when needed.
Requirements
- U.S. Person status is required for access to ITAR-controlled information.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read, see, hear, and speak English.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.
- Ability to use microscopes, saws, test frames, and basic hand tools.
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, and lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 pounds; personal protective equipment is required.
