What you will do

  • Develop inspection sheets and overlays for implants, instruments, and associated components.
  • Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and CMM equipment.
  • Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T requirements to ensure product reliability.
  • Write and route Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and maintain equipment traceability.
  • Analyze and publish site quality metrics using statistical techniques like SPC, Cp, and Cpk.
  • Manage nonconforming material and participate in Material Review Board (MRB) and CAPA activities.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of related experience or training in quality control.
  • Proficiency in mechanical inspection techniques and the use of inspection equipment.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and computer literacy.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in written and verbal English.
  • Full-time work authorization in the United States without requiring sponsorship.
  • Ability to lift 35 lbs, stand for long periods, and perform physical tasks like bending and twisting.

Nice to have

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or a related technical field.
  • Experience working in a regulated medical device manufacturing environment.
  • Working knowledge of SolidWorks for overlay creation.
