What you will do

• Own implementation of significant developer platform capabilities for more than 600 software developers.
• Design and develop cloud-native infrastructure using technologies such as Kubernetes, VSCode, Backstage, Terraform, and AI tools.
• Build scalable, secure, and self-service capabilities that improve the software development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to deliver platform objectives.
• Maintain high standards for code health, monitoring, continuous integration, frequent releases, and production reliability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of experience developing and maintaining reliable, scalable, and secure production software.
• Professional experience with Go, Python, TypeScript, or similar programming languages.
• Experience with cloud technologies and related tools, such as Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Azure, GitHub Actions, VSCode, Kubernetes, or Backstage.
• Strong foundations in data structures, algorithms, and system design, with analytical and debugging skills.
• Must already have US work authorization; employer-sponsored work authorization is not available now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform and Kubernetes.
• Experience building applications with LLMs to solve business problems.
• Knowledge of microservices, software delivery platforms, DevSecOps, continuous integration, and release management.
• Experience working on a centralized developer platform team.
• Strong interest in developer experience and empathy for platform users.
