What you will do

• Build and expand a healthcare data platform and member management solution.
• Design, build, and maintain APIs connecting health insurance carriers and technology partners.
• Scale distributed infrastructure and contribute to AI project launches.
• Own projects end to end, turning unstructured problems into technical solutions.
• Improve engineering standards and processes while collaborating with Product.
• Mentor junior engineers and influence the technical organization’s direction.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience.
• High proficiency in Rust and strong software development craftsmanship.
• Hands-on experience building and launching AI projects.
• Experience designing, building, and maintaining APIs.
• Ability to work autonomously in collaborative engineering teams.
• Transparent and positive communication style.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Ruby.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and Terraform.
• Exposure to Datadog and observability practices.
• Experience with performance monitoring, incident handling, or CI/CD optimization.
• Background in large-scale distributed systems or infrastructure-heavy products.
