What you will do

• Design and develop core platform components, backend services, and shared libraries used across product teams.
• Build foundational infrastructure that improves delivery speed, consistency, reliability, and security.
• Develop security-critical services for sensitive data protection, secure access, and encryption.
• Design and optimize high-load distributed systems for image and video processing.
• Improve performance, scalability, fault tolerance, monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting.
• Lead architectural decisions, zero-downtime data migrations, and multi-region infrastructure initiatives from design through production.

Requirements

• Strong backend development experience with Java, databases, and distributed systems.
• Confident system design skills and experience building scalable, production-ready solutions.
• Understanding of backend performance, reliability, and engineering best practices.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of complex technical initiatives.
• Experience in a product-driven engineering environment and collaboration on shared codebases.
• Working knowledge of Java 17, MongoDB, ClickHouse, Redis, Kafka, Elasticsearch or OpenSearch, and Airflow.
