Location: Remote within Poland

Salary: PLN 308,000–428,000 gross per year

What you will do

• Own and deliver quarterly team goals while guiding engineers through ambiguous, open-ended reliability challenges.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, product management, developer experience, and analytics stakeholders on technical decisions, constraints, risks, and trade-offs.
• Develop incident readiness, response, lifecycle management, and post-incident analysis practices.
• Build and monitor operational metrics, support availability and on-call efforts, and improve observability and alerting.
• Establish code review and design standards, communicate best practices through writing and technical talks, and mentor engineers.

Requirements

• 4+ years designing, developing, and launching backend systems at scale using Bash, Python, Kotlin, or similar languages.
• 4+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering or Production Engineering teams.
• Experience developing highly available distributed systems with AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes.
• Experience contributing to or driving incident lifecycle processes and improving reliability, resilience, system performance, and operational culture.
• Strong technical planning, software design, coding, communication, ownership, and collaboration skills.
