What you will do

• Develop backend services that support mobile healthcare applications.
• Design and implement APIs and integrations using Java, Spring, Hibernate, and JAX-RS.
• Work with relational databases and SQL, including PostgreSQL.
• Collaborate with architects, frontend engineers, QA engineers, and product owners in cross-functional teams.
• Contribute to code reviews, automated testing, quality initiatives, and CI/CD practices.
• Help build secure, resilient, and compliant medical software in a cloud environment.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of software engineering experience, including at least 2 years of full-time backend engineering experience.
• Professional experience with Java 17+, Spring 5, Hibernate, or JAX-RS.
• Experience with SQL, relational databases, and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with AWS or another cloud provider.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• EU citizenship or a valid Austrian work permit is required.
