What you will do

• Design and implement new backend functionalities and optimize existing services within a multitenant SaaS architecture.
• Ensure high code quality through rigorous unit and integration testing and peer code reviews.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Owners, UX/UI designers, and frontend teams.
• Solve complex performance challenges to ensure system stability and speed under heavy load.
• Utilize AI-assisted developer tools (Cursor, Claude Code) and participate in the technical implementation of AI-driven features.
• Work with advanced cloud architectures on AWS and GCP using Event Sourcing and reactive programming.

Requirements

• Strong practical knowledge of Java, Spring, Hibernate, and SQL.
• Deep understanding of SOLID principles and common design patterns to maintain a clean codebase.
• Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants and an eagerness to implement LLM/RAG solutions.
• Proficiency in JUnit/Spock, Git, Maven, and Docker.
• Experience evolving and scaling established production systems.
• Must be based in Bulgaria.

Nice to have

• Experience with reactive programming or Event Sourcing.
• Knowledge of Apache Kafka or Redis.
• Experience with hexagonal architecture or modular monoliths.
