Principal iOS Engineer (Blockchain)

Building a consumer savings application on iOS using blockchain infrastructure.

What you will do

• Own and evolve the iOS architecture, engineering standards, and technical roadmap.
• Design and ship blockchain functionality including wallet creation and connectivity, key management, transaction signing, gas estimation, RPC interaction, onchain reads, and account-abstraction flows.
• Integrate onchain and offchain data across savings, funding, withdrawals, bridges, vaults, portfolios, notifications, and analytics.
• Set standards for code quality, testing, observability, performance, release safety, and incident response.
• Remain hands-on with foundational architecture, security-sensitive functionality, complex integrations, and critical production issues.
• Coach and mentor iOS engineers while partnering with design, product, backend, protocol, and security teams.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience building production iOS applications, including Principal, Lead, or equivalent-level experience.
• Deep expertise in Swift and UIKit, including iOS architecture, concurrency, networking, navigation, application lifecycle, and native frameworks.
• Production experience integrating blockchain functionality into an iOS application, including wallets, private keys, transaction signing, RPCs, gas, and onchain transaction lifecycles.
• Experience setting architectural direction for complex consumer applications and leading engineers through high-impact work.
• Strong judgement in performance, testing strategy, observability, release safety, incident response, and production reliability.
• Clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders across product, design, backend, protocol, and security functions.
