Chief Product Officer (CPO) / Deputy IT Director (FinTech)

Location: Switzerland; moderate international travel required.

Salary: CHF 200,000–240,000 gross per year plus performance-based bonus.

What you will do

• Define and execute product and technology strategy in alignment with business objectives.
• Lead Product, Engineering, Architecture, Delivery, and Technology organisations.
• Own the product lifecycle from market strategy and discovery through delivery and optimisation.
• Drive innovation across payments, digital banking, embedded finance, open banking, and financial services platforms.
• Partner with the CIO, Executive Board, and commercial, operations, compliance, and risk stakeholders.
• Scale engineering capabilities, delivery organisations, technology operations, and leadership teams.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in Product Management, Technology, Engineering, or Software Delivery.
• At least 5 years in senior leadership roles such as CPO, VP Product, Head of Product, IT Director, Engineering Director, or Deputy IT Director.
• Relevant experience in FinTech, payments, banking technology, payment processing, acquiring, issuing, digital wallets, embedded finance, or open banking.
• Strong knowledge of software engineering, cloud-native architectures, APIs, microservices, distributed systems, and enterprise platforms.
• Proven success leading multidisciplinary organisations and delivering complex digital products at scale.
• Fluent English required; moderate international travel required.

Nice to have

• German or French language skills.
• Experience establishing or leading Technology Delivery Centres, Shared Service Centres, or Global Capability Centres.
