What you will do
- Design, build, and support secure cloud platforms and services, primarily using AWS.
- Develop infrastructure-as-code, configuration management, and deployment automation.
- Collaborate with customers, architects, security specialists, and engineering teams to deliver secure cloud solutions.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and continuously improve cloud platforms for availability, resilience, and performance.
- Contribute to cloud security, risk management, compliance, engineering standards, and peer reviews.
- Share knowledge, mentor less experienced engineers, and evaluate tools that improve platform capabilities.
Requirements
- Experience working with AWS or other cloud platforms and designing, deploying, supporting, or improving cloud infrastructure.
- Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code, automation, cloud networking, security, and operational best practices.
- Experience troubleshooting complex technical issues in modern infrastructure environments.
- Ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary engineering teams and explain technical concepts clearly.
Nice to have
- Experience with containers, Kubernetes, CI/CD, DevOps, or DevSecOps.
- Knowledge of cloud security controls, compliance frameworks, and secure-by-design principles.
- Experience supporting highly available or mission-critical services.
- AWS certifications, automation programming experience, or experience in secure, regulated, or government environments.
- Experience mentoring colleagues or providing technical leadership.
