What you will do

• Design, develop, and deploy ranking algorithms and retrieval models for highly relevant search results and content.
• Fine-tune and distill language models and implement semantic embedding techniques for fast, accurate information retrieval.
• Architect and scale personalized recommender systems that improve content discovery and user engagement.
• Own the machine learning lifecycle from ideation and data exploration through production deployment.
• Research emerging developments in machine learning, NLP, and information retrieval, and prototype new approaches.
• Collaborate with product managers, software engineers, and data scientists while mentoring colleagues.

Requirements

• Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
• At least 3 years of professional experience building and deploying production machine learning models, especially for information retrieval, search, or recommender systems.
• Strong Python programming skills and familiarity with SQL or other query languages.
• Deep knowledge of PyTorch or TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, and Hugging Face.
• Hands-on experience with vector databases and strong quantitative and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills and European legal working status are required.
