Senior Product Manager (Fintech)

Location: Manchester, UK; hybrid workplace

What you will do

• Define the product strategy for merchant experience, balancing commercial opportunities with long-term platform investment.
• Build relationships with merchants and translate customer insight into product direction and outcomes.
• Partner with Commercial teams to improve merchant growth, onboarding, and existing partnerships.
• Work with Engineering on scalable APIs, integrations, and ecommerce platform solutions.
• Prioritise initiatives using customer insight, product metrics, and commercial performance.
• Align stakeholders across Engineering, Commercial, Risk, Operations, Product Marketing, and senior leadership.

Requirements

• Strong experience owning and delivering B2B digital products.
• Experience working with merchants, partners, or business customers.
• Strong commercial judgement and evidence-based prioritisation skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing abilities.
• Technical fluency, Agile product team experience, and the ability to work independently in ambiguous environments.
• Experience in regulated or technically complex industries.

Nice to have

• Experience in payments, banking, fintech, or credit.
• Knowledge of FCA expectations, KYB requirements, or payment scheme rules.
• Experience using AI tools for product research, prototyping, or documentation.
• Experience with APIs, integrations, or platform products.
