What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of interoperability engineers and product owners.
• Define and maintain the enterprise interoperability architecture strategy and roadmap.
• Design, develop, and support APIs, interfaces, and middleware solutions.
• Establish architectural standards and best practices for event-driven integrations and data exchange.
• Partner with business and technology leaders to identify interoperability opportunities and priorities.
• Support due diligence and integration planning for acquisitions and new business initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Healthcare Informatics, or equivalent.
• 7+ years of healthcare information technology experience.
• 5+ years of experience designing and implementing integration or interoperability solutions.
• Experience leading technical teams and delivering complex technology initiatives.
• Must be based in the USA.
• Technical proficiency with HL7 v2.x, FHIR, and REST APIs.

Nice to have

• Experience in home health, hospice, or post-acute care environments.
• Experience with Epic, HCHB, or other healthcare clinical platforms.
• Background in supporting mergers, acquisitions, or large-scale system integrations.
